.NET Framework

What do you think about .NET Framework? Is it huge monster?
What are .Net 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 ?
It is nothing but a code library in manage form and use same COM concept. One simple word, it is marketing strategy of same stuff.

    @ali: but there is no model with it except uml and design.
